  • This project planning workshop, based on the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) latest PMBOK® Guide, focuses on the process of building a comprehensive and realistic project plan. You will learn how to develop the project’s schedule, cost and quality baselines which will be used to monitor and control the project as it is executed. As part of the planning process, scope is developed, project activities are defined and sequenced, resources are assigned and quality standards are set. You will also consider the human dimension of project planning and the importance of assembling the best team you can.

  • Based on the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) latest PMBOK? Guide, this second level project planning workshop examines the risk management and project procurement planning processes. Starting with basic risk management concepts, you’ll explore the five step process for building the project risk management plan. The benefits of proactive risk assessment and appropriate risk response planning will be emphasized and strategies for collaboratively developing a comprehensive risk management plan will be presented. You will also consider and apply project procurement planning tools and techniques in widespread use today. Although Project Planning I is a recommended prerequisite, it is not mandatory.

Guide, provides you with a detailed understanding of the best practice process to properly initiate a project and begin the planning process. You will learn how to develop a project charter document and manage the scope of the project. Special emphasis will be given to the project selection process, stakeholder analysis, creation of the project charter, and communications planning.

  • In order for a project to be properly executed, critical systems and processes are required to ensure the project adheres to approved scope, time, cost, and quality baselines. This workshop, based on the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) latest PMBOK? Guide, focuses on overall project change control, scope control and verification, schedule control, cost control, earned value management, quality control, and risk monitoring and control. Because projects rarely go exactly as planned, we’ll cover effective preventative and corrective actions as well. You will also learn the importance of properly closing a project from an administrative and human resource point of view.

  • This project execution workshop, based on the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) latest PMBOK? Guide, focuses on effectively overseeing and managing the various components of a project to successful completion. During project execution, project team members and stakeholders must work together to carry out the plan and stay in line with the project’s scope, time, cost, and quality objectives. You will examine and apply proven tools and techniques for quality assurance, project team development, project information distribution, and selection of sellers.
